Established in 1992 with over 35 years of experience, the Body Care Clinic specializes in optimizing colon related health through the use of Colon Hydrotherapy. Colon Hydrotherapy is a gentle cleanse of the bowel using purified water to help aid the removal of toxins in our body. The Body Care Clinic has worked extensively with a wide array of individuals both with and without health concerns (e.g., Cancer, IBS, MS, Crohn's disease and other health- related ailments).
What is Colon Hydrotherapy and why is it useful?
Colon hydrotherapy is a method of cleansing the entire colon, from rectum to cecum.
It can be delivered using different setups, and this video shows a modern, closed system.
It may be used when medically indicated, such as in preparation for a colonoscopy.
Colon Hydrotherapy is a gentle hygienic way of restoring the colon to a healthy state.
Today, we are exposed to more stress, chemicals, drugs and food additives than ever before in our history.
The removal of these toxins from our body is essential for optimal health. Poor Diet, inadequate water intake, lack of exercise and stress can all cause fecal matter to become impacted on the colon walls. This fecal matter can contain putrefied food, indigestible chemicals, bacteria, viruses, yeast and parasites.
The toxins in the fecal matter are absorbed by the colon wall and re-circulated through the blood stream this process is called “autointoxication”. As these toxins circulate the body, the lymphatic, circulatory systems, liver, lungs and kidneys become overburdened and when these systems are unable to cope with this toxic overload your body becomes at risk of serious health problems.

Before the session, you will complete a release form to confirm there are no contraindications, then have privacy to prepare. This typically means removing clothing from the waist down and covering yourself with a gown, towel, or disposable garment.
A single-use rectal speculum is inserted, either by you or with the guidance of a trained operator, depending on the setting and local practice. The speculum has two ports connected by hoses to the closed system device. One brings filtered, temperature-controlled water gently into the colon. The other carries water and waste away through an enclosed line for disposal.
The operator runs a series of fill and release cycles throughout the session, adjusting flow and timing based on your comfort. Some practitioners offer abdominal massage during the release phases to support movement within the colon.
A typical session lasts about 45 minutes. At the end, the speculum is removed and you will be guided to use the toilet before getting dressed.
Experiences vary, though some people describe feeling lighter or more vibrant afterward

We recommend that no food or liquid be consumed 2 hours before your colonic session.
How long is a treatment?
The session takes 45 minutes on average.
However, appointments are 1 hour long to give you time
to prepare before and after the session.
At Body Care Clinic, we strive to provide an exceptional standard of care. In order to achieve this,
we kindly request your co-operation in adhering to our booking policy.
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $60 is required to book your first colonic service.
This will be deducted from the appointment cost. Paid by E-Transfer, Visa or Mastercard NO AMEX
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a minimum of 24-hour notice for cancellations.
If you fail to call, or leave a voicemail message,
we will charge you for the full amount of the session on your next visit.
This will include late cancellations, no shows and missed appointments.
If you purchased a colonic package, we would deduct your missed appointment from your package.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment,
please do so in advance to avoid the full rate penalty.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, we will have to shorten your session time so the next client will not be delayed.
All sales are final and are not subject to refunds.
