6 CUPS RED KIDNEY BEANS
4 CUPS T.V.P. (TEXTURE VEGETABLE PROTEIN)
1 BOTTLE OF ORGANIC TOMATOES JUICE
3 SLEEVES OF CRUSHED GARLIC
GROUNDED MEXICAN CHILI PEPPER
PAPRIKA & CAYENNE POWDER
OREGANO & SEA SALT
KOMBU (SEA VEGETABLE)
In a large sized pot, soak beans in a ratio 3:1 water for at least 12 hours. Drain and
rinse beans, refill pot till beans are submerged. Add kombu , Bring to a boil and then
simmer on medium low heat for 1 hour. Add remaining items to the beans. Be careful with
the spices don't over do it, season to taste. Allow to cook for 30 minutes or so. Freeze
leftovers, It's ideal for future quick meals. Serve with whole wheat crackers and rice
butter.
